Itinerary Breakdown

Departure from Delhi by Volvo semi-sleeper in the evening; overnight journey through the Himalayan foothills.

Arrive in Manali in the morning where our team receives you, then begin the scenic drive towards the serene Jibhi Valley through the Aut Tunnel and the lush Banjar region. Check in to your hotel or homestay; the evening is kept relaxed for a riverside walk or exploring the village. Overnight in Jibhi.

Early departure from Jibhi towards Sangla via Jalori Pass or the Banjar–Ani route, depending on weather. Entering the stunning Baspa Valley brings views of snow-covered peaks, lush greenery and apple orchards. Evening at leisure exploring the peaceful village. Overnight in Sangla.

After breakfast, visit Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo–Tibet border, then continue towards Kalpa with spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash Range. Drive on to Nako, a charming high-altitude settlement, and spend the evening at Nako Lake. Overnight in Nako.

Entry into the heart of Spiti Valley: drive to Gue Village, famous for its naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy, continue to Tabo Monastery — one of the oldest functioning Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site — then ride alongside the Spiti River to Kaza, the administrative centre of Spiti. Overnight in Kaza.

Ride out to Key Monastery with its stunning architecture and views, Langza with its ancient fossils and giant Buddha statue, Hikkim — home to the world’s highest post office — and Komic, one of the highest villages on earth. Overnight in Kaza.

Cross the impressive Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia, pass through the charming village of Losar, and climb to the breathtaking Kunzum La Pass before arriving at the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake with its clear turquoise waters. Overnight camp stay near Chandratal.

Stop at Batal for a refreshing chai break, pass through scenic Chatru, and ride through the Atal Tunnel to Manali where the expedition concludes. For Delhi-to-Delhi riders, board the overnight Volvo from Manali to Delhi.

The Volvo drops you at the Delhi Volvo station — expedition over, badges earned and the high roads already calling you back.
